Contractor’s All Risks Insurance
A construction all risk insurance is a comprehensive insurance policy that covers projects, like construction of buildings, power plants, water and wastewater treatment facilities, airports, etc.
"Mega Insurance" OJSC offers comprehensive cover by covering risks which may arise during construction.It comprises physical loss or damage that may happen to the property, plant and machinery, temporary work erected on-site along with the third-party liability related to the work done on the site.
Mainly, the coverage is offered in the following two sections:
- Section 1: Material Damage - It covers losses or damages or destruction of the property.
- Section 2: Third-Party Liability - It covers a legal liability falling on the insured contractor due to losses or damages suffered by a third-party.
The coverage can be further extended to cover the interests of manufacturers, suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors. Also, the policy can be extended to cover the following risks:
- Debris removal;
- Provision for escalation;
- Terrorism;
- Air freight;
- Additional custom duty;
- Maintenance visits.
