Compulsory Motor TPL Insurance
To provide compulsory insurances on the territory of Azerbaijan Republic, it is obligatory for the insurance companies to be registered as a member of the Compulsory Insurance Bureau. “Mega Insurance” OJSC has been a member of Compulsory Insurance Bureau since 28th March 2012.
- According to the “Compulsory Insurance” law of Azerbaijan Republic effective from 18th October 2011, it is mandatory for owners of motor vehicles to be covered under the compulsory motor third party liability insurance.
- Compulsory MTPL insurance indemnifies death/bodily injury of natural persons, as well as damages to property of natural and juristic persons arising out of the usage of the vehicles on the territory of Azerbaijan Republic.
Indemnity limits of Compulsory Motor Third Party Liability Insurance:
- Death/Bodily Injury - AZN 5 000 (five thousand) per person;
- Total limit for Death/Bodily Injury - AZN 50 000 (fifty thousand);
- Third Party Property Damage - AZN 5 000 (five thousand);
- Total limit - AZN 55 000 (fifty five thousand) per each occurence.
- Death/Bodily Injury - AZN 5 000 (five thousand) per person;
